Our Team

Our team is dedicated to providing the highest-quality care and a patient-first experience—whether you’re here for orthodontic treatment, sleep apnea care, or both. Led by Dr. Bana Hosseinian (“Dr. H”), we focus on delivering excellent outcomes in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Dr. H is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) and also holds certification through the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine—advanced qualifications that reflect a commitment to exceptional clinical standards and ongoing education.

Dr. Bana Hosseinian (“Dr. H”)

Education

  • Studied at the University of California, San Diego, majoring in Biochemistry & Cell Biology with a minor in Music, including participation in a music therapy program.
  • Earned her dental degree at UCLA School of Dentistry.
  • Completed a 3-year postgraduate orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics program at the University of Pittsburgh, including craniofacial research and a master’s degree component.
  • Completed a craniofacial orthodontic fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center, with experience treating medically complex cases, craniofacial differences, cleft lip/palate, and surgical orthodontic needs.

Clinical focus: orthodontics, dentofacial orthopedics, craniofacial and cleft care, and dental sleep medicine support for sleep apnea.

Personal Life

After moving to the Roanoke Valley, Dr. H and her husband grew to love the mountains and community. They have two daughters and enjoy spending time outdoors—hiking, camping, and swimming. She also loves music (including piano) and relaxing with a good movie.

Credentials & Professional Involvement

Dr. H is a board-certified orthodontic specialist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). In addition to orthodontics, she completed advanced training through the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine to help patients manage sleep apnea using dental appliances.

She also serves as adjunct faculty with Carilion Clinic, helping teach hospital dental residents and participating with a multidisciplinary cleft lip and palate team.
